The electronic watt-hour meter uses a dedicated watt-hour meter integrated circuit through real-time sampling of the user’s power supply voltage and current, and processes the sampled voltage and current signals and multiplies them into a pulse output proportional to the electrical energy. The physical device shown on the monitor.

①Powerful function and easy to expand

One electronic watt-hour meter is equivalent to several induction watt-hour meters. For example, a fully functional electronic multi-function meter is equivalent to two positive active meters, two positive reactive power meters, two maximum demand meters and one Only the loss-of-pressure chronograph can realize the functions of time-sharing measurement and automatic data reading that cannot be realized by these seven watches. At the same time, the reduction in the number of meters effectively reduces the pressure drop of the secondary circuit and improves the reliability and accuracy of the entire metering device.

②High accuracy and stability

The accuracy level of induction watt-hour meters is generally 0.5 to 3.0, and the error is prone to change due to mechanical wear, while electronic watt-hour meters can easily use various compensations to easily achieve a higher accuracy level, and the error is stable The performance is good, and the accuracy level of the electronic watt-hour meter is generally 0.2 to 1.0.

③The starting current is small and the error curve is flat

The induction electric energy meter can be started and measured under 0.3% Ib, and the error curve changes greatly, especially when the load is low; while the electronic electric energy meter is very sensitive and can start and perform under 0.1% 1b. Metering, and the error curve is good, the error is almost a straight line in the full load range.

④Wide frequency response range

The frequency response range of the induction electric energy meter is generally 45-55 Hz, while the frequency response range of the electronic multi-function meter is 40-1000 Hz.

⑤Slightly affected by external magnetic field

The induction type electric energy meter measures according to the principle of moving into the magnetic field, so the external magnetic field has a great influence on the meter's measurement performance. The electronic watt-hour meter mainly relies on the multiplier for calculation, and its measurement performance is less affected by the external magnetic field.

⑥Easy to install and use

There are strict requirements for the installation of induction electric energy meters. If the suspension level has a large deviation or even an obvious tilt, the electric energy measurement will be inaccurate. The electronic watt-hour meter uses an electronic metering method without mechanical rotating parts, so there is no such problem. In addition, it is small in size, light in weight, and easy to use.

⑦Large overload capacity

The induction type electric energy meter uses the coil to work, in order to ensure its measurement accuracy, generally can only overload 4 times; while the electronic multi-function meter can reach 6-10 times the overload.

⑧ Stronger anti-stealing ability

Electricity theft is an unavoidable practical problem in my country's urban and rural electricity consumption, and the inductive watt-hour meter has a poor ability to prevent electricity theft. The new electronic watt-hour meter realizes the prevention of common electricity theft from the basic principle. For example, ADE7755 can measure the phase line and neutral line currents through two current transformers, and use the larger current as the basis for electric energy measurement, so as to prevent short-circuiting of current wires and other ways of stealing electricity.
